Like a Kid in the Kitchen at Christmas
As a kid at Christmas, nothing was more exciting to me than cooking something yummy up in the kitchen with my mom!
The best was the almond flavored shortbread cookies we’d make. (If only my mom had let me eat the whole bowl of cookie dough!) Life seemed magical when Christmas rolled around and I got to be part of the magic of baking with my sweet mom.
If I’m honest and let the kid inside of me speak up, I feel the exact same way this Christmas season, but not about Christmas cookies.
I feel it about what we are getting to cook up at ONE. When I am not overridden by the play-it-cool, overly-responsible, adult version of Cayce, I am quite simply ecstatic about what I get to be a part of in this season.
We have been in conversations with God for a while now about creative ways to do what we do best: make oneness practical for everyday life!
We have been in the kitchen with the best Cook, and I can’t wait to be part of serving the feast in 2022!
We’re cooking up special dishes for the people who have loved 49 Days and want more.
We’re cooking up a specialty dish for the business owners who care so deeply about the health of their people and want to partner with ONE to support and bless their employees.
We’re cooking up new ways to help you share what you experience through ONE with the people in your life.
In the history of ONE, I’ve never quite felt the magic of what I feel today: all the ingredients are within reach in the most beautiful kitchen, with a family that loves to cook together!
My ask is that you pray about your piece of the pie for this season—your giving, your participation, and your sharing are essential for enjoying the meal as a community.
God has set a table before us, even in the presence of what might feel like enemies, and this is a feasting season!
Give—fund the feast! Support what’s cooking in the kitchen!
Participate—engage with 49 Days, a prayer appointment virtually or in person, or a zoom call!
Share—Take the resources we have created and share them with your people.
There’s more to come; we’re just getting started!
We (truly, all of us together—God, you, me!) are cooking up something mighty special!
Jesus, what ingredients have You put in my hands?
Jesus, what are You inviting me to join You in right now?
Jesus, what lies have I believed that keep me out of the kitchen?
Jesus, what do You know about Your great feast that I don’t know?
